Geboren in Pecs/ Ungarn. Konzertfachstudium an der Universität für Musik in Wien bei Prof. Barbara Gisler-Haase, sowie an der Hochschule für Musik in München bei Prof. Paul Meisen und Prof. Andras Adorjan.

Preisträgerin verschiedener Wettbewerbe, u. a.: Anton Bruckner-Förderungspreis der Wiener Symphoniker und Anerkennungspreis beim internationalen Flötenwettbewerb "Maria Canals" in Barcelona/ Spanien.

Mitwirkung im Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester unter Claudio Abbado.

Seit September 1995 1. Flötistin des Bruckner Orchesters Linz und seit 2004 Mitglied des Johann Strauss Ensembles.

Ildiko Deak was born in Pecs/ Hungary. She studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Prof. Barbara Gisler-Haase as well as at the University for Music and Theatre in Munich/ Germany with Prof. Paul Meisen and Prof. Andras Adorjan. 

Laureate of several competitions amongst others Anton Bruckner-Förderungspreis der Wiener Symphoniker and the international flute competition "Maria Canals" in Barcelona/ Spain. 

She was a member of the Gustav-Mahler-Jugendorchester (music director: Claudio Abbado). 

Since 1995 she is member of the Bruckner Orchester Linz in the position of first flute. 

Since 2004 she is a member of the Johann Strauss Ensemble.
